News: Asia Radio Conference, and the ABU Radio Song Festival preparation goes on.

In a report made by MRTV on December 12th of the last year, the burmese public broadcasting entity, announced that is preparing the Asia Radio Confrerence, which will be hosted by Myanmar for the very first time. This conference has been organising since 2005, and this year, 40 or 45 speakers from all the radio station members of the Asia-Pacifc Broadcasting Union, are expected to attend the convention.
The aim of this event is the exchange ideas between the broadcasting companies from all over the Asia-Pacific region.



The report also talks abot the ABU Radio Song Festival, which will take place on the 29th of May, in the city of Yangon, the former burmese capital city.
Although in the report, some of the heads of the MRTV, admit that the broadcaster hasn't got any experience in the organisation of big events, they have a lot of hopes in the project.
