ABU Song Festival future.
India has been taking part in the ABU Radio Song Festivals from its Debut in 2012, to the second edition which was held in Colombo (Sri Lanka) two years later. It's still unknown if the country will participate in the third edition of the ARSF, which will be held in Yangon (Myanmar).
Doordarshan has been interested in the ABU Radio Song Festival, but until now, the broadcaster has never intended to take part in the ABU TV Song Festival, for which the broadcasters must choose a famous or renowned artist.
If the contest turned into a competitive event, India could choose songs sung in different languages, showing all its diversity.
