According to the ABU Song Festivals website, Indonesia, the only country that has, so far, confirmed its participation in the festival, will use the "Bintang Radio Indonesia" Song Contest to select their entrant in the fifth edition of the event.
TVRI, the Indonesian national broadcaster has participated in both the ABU TV Song Festival, and the ABU Radio Song Festival, since the start of both events in 2012. It's also, one of the few countries that has participated in every edition of the festival
It's not the first time that indonesia organises a National Final in order to select their participant in the event. In fact, in 2013, the broadcaster created a similar competition in which Putri & Shella where the winners.
