MBC, the radio broadcaster that organizes the Sri Lankan entry for the ABU Radio Song Festival 2015, has revealed that they will send a delegation to Yangon. The same broadcaster has also revealded their representatives. Shadir Ahmed and Wishmi Tharusha Hettiarachi, will represent Sri Lanka in the festival with the song: "Celebrate us (Children)".
Shadir and Wishmi, will sing their song in shinalese, tamil and english languages. The song intends to be a call for love and protection for the children around the world, and to promote their rights.
This will be the second time that Sri Lanka participates in the ABU Radio Song Festival. Their previous entrant last year was Sheihara Liyanage. Although the festival was no longer a competition, her song was the max favourite for many followers of the event.
