Dimash Kudaibergen, who represented Kazakhstan in the ABU TV Song Festival 2015 is about to debut in a Chinese music show called "Singer" (歌手) produced by Hunan TV.
Dimash started his musical career after winning the Slavianskiy Bazar song contest. Then he took part in a casting organised by Qazmedia Örtaligi to select the Kazakh participant for the ABU TV Song Festival, which was held in Istanbul.
The young singer took part in the event with the song "Daididau" (Lament) and his performance was acclaimed both by the Asian public in general and the local Kazakh audience. Moreover, the Youtube video of his performance remains the most seen video of that year's edition. Since then, the strong voice of Dimash has been gaining admirers.
Now, Dimash takes part in "Singer", which is a show produced by Hunan TV, the same broadcaster that is trying to turn the ABU TV Song Festival into a Eurovision style song contest for the Asia-Pacific region.
