The ABU TV Cup Song Contest, which is set to premiere on early 2017, has already generated many youtube fan videos. This competitive event, was agreed between the chinese TV station Hunan TV and the Asia-Pacific Broadcating Union.
The future event has also generated many videos about how would be the ATCSC in case that all the broadcasters belonging to the ABU participated. The last one of these videos has been published by a youtube user from Thailand who has posted his top 10 favourite ideal entries for the event.
Although the rules of the ABU TV Cup Song Contest 2017 still haven't been revealed, the details about the event may be given in the next months by the Asia-Pacifc Broadcasting Union.
The ABU TV Cup Song Contest has generated some Youtube videos by some users about the ideal entries for the event itself, and for the national finals in case they were celebrated by the national broadcasters. It is still unknown if the state broadcasters of the ABU will organise national finals or internal selections. In some countries with a powerful music industry, such as China, South Korea, Thailand or Japan, there are many options for a national final to be held. In other asian countries, which haven't got such a vibrant entertainment scene, the ellection of the entrant may be internal. Anyway, the process that the ABU member TV stations will choose is still unknown.
