ABU Radio Song Festival 2016: Some entries revealed



The ABU Radio Song Festival Website has been updated with some of the songs that will take part in the show, which will be held in Beijing. Among some of the participating countries it should be noted, the debut of Romania, which is co-organiser of this year's "Radio Asia Conference".

Apart from Romania, Macau and Nepal will also take part for first time in the ABU Radio Song Festival. From Myanmar, Eastern, who took part last year in the festival as a duet with Jewel, will perform again in the event, this time partnerd with Phoe Pyae. 

Indonesia, Maldives and India, have all of them selected two singers in order to perform in the festival. Some other countries are also expected to take part in the event. 

The ABU Radio Song Festival will be a showcase (still not a competition) in which the different performers of the participating countries will perform in a special gala. The best songs will be selected by an expert jury that will decide which of the songs will perform in the gala.

Maldives: Bathool Ahmed
                 Abdullah Siyau
South Korea: Seungjin Han
Thailand: Nawapol Roadsomjit
Myanmar: Eastern & Phoe Pyae
India: Vince Costa
          Thokchom Lansana Chanu
Nepal: Suman Gurung
Macau: Josie Ho - Who I am
Indonesia: Debora Febricia Romauli
                  Novry Batteny
