Asiavision debated in the Indonesian internet forums

The upcoming Asiavision Song Contest, which is being organised by the Australian SBS and a number of powerful Asian broadcasers, has appeared in the Indonesian internet forums.

More details have been announced about the first Asiavision Song Contest. The details were revealed last week, and during the Eurovision Song Contest. The provisional list of participating broadcasters have been revealed although they are not definitive.

Asiavision Generates interest in Thailand

Thailand is one of the elegible countries to participate in Asiavision / ABU TV Cup Song Contest. Although it's still unknown if this country will participate in the event, the announcement of the event by SBS has been met with interest in the Thai social media.

ABU TV Song Festival 2016: The winner of Bintang Radio will represent Indonesia.

According to the ABU Song Festivals website, Indonesia, the only country that has, so far, confirmed its participation in the festival, will use the "Bintang Radio Indonesia" Song Contest to select their entrant in the fifth edition of the event.

Asiavision may have a refference group

SBS, the Australian broadcaster that is in charge of both the Australian participation in the Eurovision Song Contest and the future Asiavision Song Contest has revlealed more details about the new pan-Asian competitive song festival.

Peter Hyun (현 피터), one of the vocalists of the band One Way (원웨이), and collaborator of SBS pop Asia, has given his opinion about the upcoming Asiavision. The artist and producer has also talked about the singers and bands he would like to see in the contest representing his country.

ABU TV Song Festival 2016: Logo presented

Finally the official logo of the ABU TV Song Festival 2016 has been presented. The announcement came from the official facebook of the event, which has also presented the official image of this year's ABU General Assembly.
