Australia will not participate in the ABU TV Song Festival

SBS, the australian broadcaster which in charge of the ABU TV Song Festival entries, has confirmed to Eurovoix, that they will withdraw from the festival this year.

No reasons for the australian absece this year have been given.

Australia has been one of the biggest suporters of the ABU TV Song Festivals and has been participating every year since their debut in 2012. The last australian representant in the festival was Dami Im, who represented her country last year in Macau.
