4 countries withdraw from ABU Radio Song Festival.

The sudden withrawal of four countries has overshadowed the ABU Radio Song Festival 2015, where 13 countries were expected to participate.


Palestine, Malaysia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka made public their decission to not participate in the event. The pakistani representer, Shakeel Mahota, said that he didn't have time enough to participate in the festival. Dalal Abu Amneh, the palestinian representative, who made a rehearsal last night, retired from the show in order to show her support the Rohyinga people.

Malaysia and Sri Lanka have not given any reasons for their absence in the event.

The absent artists have been replaced with more interval acts and the participation of more burmese artists instead.
