TRT, the turkish national broadcaster is preparing the 52nd General Assembly of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, that will take place in Istanbul.
The ABU TV Song Festival that will be celebrated on October 28 will be part of the General Assembly of the organisation.
Till now.. We know that the call for participation has already started. Two countries have confirmed their participation yet: Turkey, the host country will take part in the event for sure, while Indonesia is already looking for their entrant. Maldives, which debuted last year in Macau, have also stated their wish to take part in the event.
The venue that will host the fourth edition of this festival has not been decided yet, but it is expected to be revealed in the next weeks.
The ATSF, remains being a non competitive event in which the best known performers from the participating countries perform their latest hits.
