According to the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union website, the next edition of the ABU TV Song Festival will be held on November 1.
At first, the ABU General Assembly and its associated meetings were scheduled to take place few days before, but finally the organisation decided to move the event.
The Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union is still debating wether the festival will turn into a competitive song contest. The transformation of the event into a song contest was firstly announced in late 2015 but it was confirmed one year later. Nowadays, the organisation memebers are talking about the definitive format of the event which has not been revealed.
