The fifth edition of the ABU TV Song Festival will take place in Jakarta, the indonesian capital city. That's what the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union has confirmed to Eurovoix world.
Just like the other editions of the event, the ATSF'15 will be celebrated in October, although the exact date has not been still revealed. The ABU TV Song Festival, is an event where the participating broadcasters select a massively popular artist or band in order to represent their countries. Although since its start in 2012 this festival has not been competitive, this year may be the last non competitive festival, because in September, it was confirmed the creation of the ABU TV Cup Song Contest.
TVRI, (Televisi Republik Indonesia) , the public broadcasting entity of Indonesia, the host country of the fifth ATSF, has taken part every year in the festival, and has been so far, the only country to confirm its participation
